Description of The Pond - Safety Bay (Australia)

The Pond is a nice shallow water bay protected by a long sandbank. There are areas of shallow and deep water where both beginners and experts can enjoy great wind conditions. The sandbank gives a lot of room for beginners to walk upwind and practice safely in shallow waters down. The spot works best with south or southwest winds which are normally generated by the thermal effect, so they tend to pick up in the warm afternoon hours. There is plenty of space to set and launch the kite on the sandy beach.

Dangers
