Description of Boca Paila - Sian ka'an (Mexico)
Boca Piala is a difficult to reach spot but can pay back with great kite sessions in turquoise shallow waters basically with no one around. The spot is located in the land stretch between Tulum and Punta Allen in the Sian Ka'an Bio reserve. Conditions are great thanks to the very shallow bottom just outside the mouth of the river. As all around Yucatan water is warm and the wind is gentle, so bring adequate sized kites.
