The Kite School
Cambodia stands out in Southeast Asia for having two distinct wind seasons. For the past twelve years, Cambodia Kiteboarding has been based at the Villa Vedici riverside resort in Kampot. They're affiliated with the IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization), a global leader in kitesurfing, dedicated to education, safety promotion, and setting industry standards. In Cambodia, the windy season kicks off from December through March, followed by a change in wind direction to onshore conditions, lasting from April to early October.

The School Team
Frank van Zoggel, hailing from The Netherlands, finds immense joy in the sport of kiteboarding. Having completed his Instructor Training Course (ITC) in May 2009, he has been passionately teaching ever since.
His initial encounter with kiteboarding left a lasting impression, fueling his desire for more. With a background in Sports Management, Leisure, and Outdoor, Frank holds two major certifications: PADI Dive Instructor and IKO Kiteboard Instructor.
Villa Vedici, a resort he established based on his business plan, now serves as his home base. Little did he anticipate that this venture would lead him to immigrate to the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Now firmly rooted in Cambodia, Frank has no intention of ever leaving his beloved spot by the water's edge.
School's Services and Amenities
Cambodia Kiteboarding is affiliated with the International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO), providing kitesurfers with services such as individual kitesurfing Lessons, and group kitesurfing Lessons.
Cambodia Kiteboarding is also the only school registered with Kitesurf Culture in the area of Kampot (Cambodia) to offer kiteboarding gear rental, equipment storage, rescue service during the session, organization of downwind tours, gear repair service, equipment shop in school, stand up paddle boards rentals, wing foil rentals, wing foil lessons, accommodation directly at the school or in close premises, bar and chill area in the school, restaurant in or close to the school, and free wifi.
