Description of Lagoa Tabuba (Brazil)
Laoga Tabuba is a very handy spot just out of Fortaleza. A couple of kite schools hang out here. Not as popular as Cauipe in Cumbuco or Tahiba, it shares the same quality of flat water and wind.
Lately has become a bit more crowded than it used to be, but it is a great flat water spot to improve your freestyle and wakeboard tricks. It is quite cool to organize downwinders from here to Cumcuco and further.
Dark - Muddy
Lycra or occasionally shorty.
Occasional sharp shells on the bottom of the lagoon in some spots. Pay attention.
Nothing around here. Better head back to Fortaleza for nightlife or to Cumbuco for a more laid back stay.
How to get There
Drive out of Fortaleza on the main coast road, you will find it just after a few km, passing on the Tabuba bridge.
Easy access from the coastal road
From 12 to 22 Knots
