Description of Elektrenai Meadows (Lithuania)

The Elektrenai Meadows (Elektrenai Pievos for the locals), is a great spot close to Vilnius when the wind comes from the West and North West. Occasionally you can ride also the south wind, but it isn't the ideal direction (for this direction, you can go up to the northeast point of the lake directly in Elektrenai town). It is an inland lake, as the close Vievis Lake, so expect the wind to be always gusty to some degree, but the spot is nice and it is very handy if you are in Vilnius of Kaunas. The water is deep and the entrance from the grass beach is tricky, therefore is not suitable for beginners.
