Description of Alaçati North Wind Spot (Turkey)
Alaçati is one of the most glamorous vacation places in Turkey and historically used to be a windsurfing hotspot. With the rise of kitesurfing, of course, it became popular for kite too. This spot works best with the seasonal trade winds from the northeast (Meltemi) that start the middle of May and end in October. The wind speed is on average around 20'25 knots.
