The Kite School

Modo Experto School is a water sports center based in Portugal, created by ocean lovers and experienced instructors.


We offer surf, kitesurf, wingfoil and wakeboard lessons for all levels, always focused on safety, progression and enjoyment.


More than a school, we are a community. We believe in sharing experiences, connecting with nature and learning at your own pace. Our lessons are taught in small groups or privately, allowing personalised coaching and real progress in the water.

School's Services and Amenities

Modo Experto School is affiliated with the International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO) and the Vdws International School Association (VDWS), providing kitesurfers with services such as individual kitesurfing Lessons, and group kitesurfing Lessons.

Modo Experto School is also the only school registered with Kitesurf Culture in the area of Viana do Castelo (Portugal) to offer kiteboarding gear rental, equipment storage, rescue service during the session, organization of downwind tours, gear repair service, equipment shop in school, wing foil rentals, wing foil lessons, accommodation directly at the school or in close premises, bar and chill area in the school, free wifi, and yoga lessons.
