Description of Ponte Caffaro (Italy)

If you find yourself in the North of Italy during Italian spring, summer, and autumn and you see wind in the Po valley blowing from West, this is the spot to go to. It is quite close to Brescia and Verona and not as crowded as Garda or Como lakes since it is pretty unknown to the foreigners. Conditions are easy, but you need to be an independent kiter to ride here and be able to consistently upwind. A nice grass area has plenty of space to set the kite and friendly riders to help you launch the kite.

The entrance is quite narrow, but the water is shallow, so you can walk upwind to where there is more space.
