Description of Playa Valdevaqueros (Spain)

The Beach of Valdevaqueros is the second spot, with Los Lances, to be open all year round for kitesurfers. In the summer season, as for the other, there are delimited areas to launch and land the kites and for kitesurfers and windsurfers in the water.

The beach is large and sandy with plenty of room to launch and land kites and It is considered the safest beach to work with Levante due to its half-moon shape that prevents riding completely off-shore.

The spot works with different wind directions.
Poniente: side-onshore, choppy water, and steady wind.
Levante: side-onshore and side-offshore, little to no chop, quite gusty wind.
South wind: on-shore and wavy. Steady wind but difficult for beginners to get out to the sea, but nice for wave surfing.
North wind: side-onshore, little chop, but very gusty.
