Playa Chica, as the name says, is a tiny beach just out of the jetty.
During the summer season, it is strictly forbidden for kiters and reserved for families and normal beach activities. If you want to see the beaches available all year round in Tarifa, you should check Los Lances and Playa Valdevaqueros
It should only be accessed by kiters out of season when no other beach users are present.
The beach is sandy but not very big and surrounded from all sides by rocks.
Playa chica offers its best with Poniente (west wind) when the harbor walls protect the small bay's waters creating a mirror flat spot.
A lot of pros often practice here when it is possible.
With Levante, the wind becomes often very strong and, together with all the surrounding obstacles, makes this spot advisable only for advanced riders.
