Description of Nessnass Beach (United Arab Emirates)

The spot of Jumeirah is the unofficial kite spot of Dubai, since a couple of miles south there is the officially dedicated Kite Beach. Nevertheless, Jumeirah beach is probably a better place to practice, especially on low wind days and with onshore winds. This is mainly because it is a wide semicircular bay that can be good with different wind directions. A second reason is the fact that in the near kite beach on low wind days there are a lot of other beachgoers that can create dangerous situations. For that reason, a lot of kiters go to the official Kitesurf Beach only on strong wind days.

This spot is a wide sandy beach with plenty of space for launch and landing kites. There is a large parking lot to access the kitespot directly on its side.

The wind conditions are the same as the main Kitebeach since they are pretty close, but this spot, due to its semicircular shape is easier to access for a broader set of wind directions. Don't expect very strong winds even in the main season, with a normal maximum below 20 knots.
