Description of Lagoa Tahiba (Brazil)

Lagoa Tahiba takes its name from the close by village. It is the third lagoon coming from Fortaleza to offer the same great kiting conditions, after Icarai (Tabuba) and Cumbuco (Caiupe). It is a nice flat water lagoon with plenty of sand around it to set up and launch your kite. Occasionally the lagoon can get really crowded, especially in high-season months.

Apart from that, the kiting conditions are great and the sea in front can be a nice option for wave kiting and great downwinders to Paracuru and beyond.
