Description of Vieste-San Lorenzo Beach (Italy)

Probably the best kite spot in all Gargano peninsula, S.Lorenzo is a large and sandy beach with shallow and almost flat water. Steady winds blow practically all-year-round. There is plenty of space to set up the kite and launch/land it on the spot. The nearby town, Vieste, welcomes visitors from all over the world every year. Its tourist success is due to a mix of sea and its incredible coastline and countless sightseeing attractions.

You can find extra activities on the spot on no windy days, such as sup and surf rental. If you want to look around, you can spend time sightseeing historical heritage sites of the town or dive into the lush Umbra forest. At night there is plenty of choice for dinner restaurants or bars for a simple local 'Aperitivo'
