Description of Porto Cesareo Lagoon (Italy)

Porto Cesareo is the perfect spot with the south wind (Scirocco). The lagoon is huge and even though this spot can get pretty crowded, there is space for everyone. The water is crystal clear and the access to the beach can be in several points. this is one of the most popular kite spots in Salento.

Dangers

In several points the beach is narrow and the kite launch is a bit tricky. Some pebbles on the beach might suggest the use of shoes. In high season the access to kiters can be restricted due to the crowd, but normally in July and August the wind is scarse.
