Description of Sohar Eye (Oman)

The spot is located on the front beach close to the Sohar Eye Park. There is a river mouth that occasionally can provide a flat water area. The beach is wide and there is plenty of space to set up the kites and launch/land. The wind direction is often side-shore or side-on from the north.
Best season for this area is the winter and spring when cold winds from the north provide great kitesurfing conditions.
